Local Matters
Local Matters is an initiative by Grill’d Healthy Burgers that demonstrates their commitment to giving back to the communities they serve across Australia. Here’s how it works:
Monthly Donations:
- Each Grill’d restaurant allocates $500 to support local community groups. These funds are split among three organizations doing impactful work in the community¹. Since 2011, Grill’d has donated over $7 million to more than 30,000 local community groups and projects.
Your Vote Counts:
- When you order a burger at Grill’d, you receive a token. You can then vote for the charity or cause of your choice by placing the token in the corresponding jar. This way, you directly influence which local group receives support.
Diverse Causes:
- Grill’d supports a wide range of causes, including health and disability, community service, sports and recreation, animals and environment, and youth services. Their contributions have made a significant impact on various communities.
National Campaigns:
- Occasionally, Local Matters goes national to support a significant cause that resonates with Grill’d and its patrons.
Expanding Horizons:
- Grill’d has even extended Local Matters to Bali, spreading their community spirit beyond Australia.
